| The Bearing
Style is reproduced 3 sizes; Large, medium and small.
They have a shinny chrome mag center. The wheels is connected to a small
white delrin bearing on the end of the axle set. These were the
first wheels Mattel put on the redlines. Most Common Wheel for
Redlines manufacture between 1968 - 1969. |
The Deep
Dish Wheels are attached to the axle the same way the bearing
style is attached. They have a deeper inset and were found on very
few Redline Cars. The Chrome finish is not as shinny as the other
wheels. They have more of an aluminum look to them. They come in
medium and small only. |
The Snap-on
or Cap style was only produced in Large and medium wheels.
They have a shinny chrome mag center..
They snap on to a round hub that is attached to the end of the axle.
It can be compared to the lid of Tupperware fitting onto a
Tupperware bowl. They have a snap fit |
The Permanent
wheel is not reproduced and we do not sell them. They are
fastened on permanently to the axle. You can not replace them with
out taking the wheel off the axle. We do sell complete axle
sets that will fit on these types of cars. Most Redlines from
1973 and on have these wheels or a combination of this wheel
on the front and the Caps style for the rear. |
